Description
Conservatory spares has a large selection of multiwall polycarbonate sheeting in a variety of thicknesses and sizes.
Our Polycarbonate sheets are co-extruded with a full UV protection layer to provide great impact resistance. The lightweight, energy-saving sheeting is perfect for use in conservatories, canopies, curved roof lights, and other applications.
The most common type of polycarbonate is multiwall polycarbonate, which is commonly used for conservatories and lean-to roofs. Its numerous layers provide excellent heat insulation while also providing pretty decent acoustic insulation.
It is crucial to remember that we do not recommend 4mm or 6mm twinwall polycarbonate sheets for roofing applications when ordering polycarbonate. We propose 10mm to 16mm polycarbonate for timber-supported roofs, and 25mm to 35mm polycarbonate for self-supporting roofs.
Polycarbonate can also be used for different types of glazing. Sport shelters, bike racks, and security barriers are a few examples. This displays how versatile polycarbonate sheets are.
